We recently wrote about the importance of recognizing that we should in faith approach Christ in our times of need. In doing so, we must come to Him boldly. Paul says in Hebrews 4:16 nkjv, “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego mentioned in the book of Daniel chapter 3 nkjv, demonstrated the young men trust in God when facing the fiery furnace. In verses 17-18 they said to the king, "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it... But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods" (Daniel 3:).”
God knows our heart, and He wants us to have full confidence that He has our “back.” There are times when we will feel all alone, and even think that we are abandoned, but our God truly cares for us. No matter the situation you are facing today or in the future, turn it over to Jesus, and He will certainly see you through.
Why not approach God with all our needs; is it that difficult for us to be honest with Him? He desires that we come boldly to Him in faith. After all, doesn’t he know everything?
