A Story of Faith and Prayer – Part 3, The Conclusion

Having rested His case before God, and spending much time in prayer with his wife, Roger decided to do the surgery.
After five hours of surgery, Roger was returned to his hospital room. A while later, the doctor went to see Roger and informed him that he had not found any trace of a tumor. The doctor also seemed surprised when Roger told him that he had no pain. Roger’s hospital room mate had the same kind of surgery, and he needed injections every so often to relieve his suffering. The removed tissues were sent to a lab for signs of cancer, and the result was that no traces of cancer was found. His doctor who had entered the room with all smiles, was excited, and explained how fortunate Roger was in light of the earlier tests. Roger thanked the doctor for the good news, but reminded him
that after the first tests, he had wanted to know exactly how critical his situation was, so that he (Roger), would know how to pray. He thanked the doctor for being honest with him, but most of all he thanked God, for doing what was humanly impossible.
