Prayer for our Friends!

In Matthew 28:19-20, God calls us to be His disciples and to “go into all the world to preach the Gospel.” What is our world? Is it only people in other nations or can we say that it is our next-door neighbours, at home, at work, in our social gatherings, or at school?

Our neighbour includes all who we come in contact with day by day. So today we share with you a few short prayers that you can use when praying for your friends. There is also mention of faithful prayers from our ancestors. Prayers do not have to be long.

  Prayers:

“Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of interceding for others through prayer. Help me to love and care for those around me, seeking Your blessings for their lives. Show me who I can lift up in prayer today, and may my intercessions reflect Your grace and compassion. Amen.”

“I pray for the success and prosperity of my friend. Bless their endeavors and grant them the strength to overcome challenges. May their hard work be rewarded and find fulfillment in their achievements. I offer this prayer for my friends in Your name Jesus Christ.”

‍I entrust my friend into Your loving hands. Surround them with Your protective shield, guarding them from harm and danger. Watch over them as they navigate life's journey, and may Your angels encamp around them. I place their safety in Your capable hands. In Jesus' Name, amen.
